Happy Friday, everyone! Thank you for all the comments, shares, and likes that you’ve given me this week! I can’t possibly make this blog grow without you, and I really appreciate all your support!
This week, I’m keeping the Random Inspiration post a little shorter, because the quote that I have to share with you answers the following questions: Why do you dance? What does it mean to you?
Dance has given me a focus that I never had before. It motivates me to push myself, because I know that with hard work I can achieve anything. Dance is a way to express myself, to create beauty, to move other people. The stage becomes a canvas, with endless possibilities, and I get the privilege of being the artist.
When I started a recreational class three years ago, I never imagined that it would turn into what it is today. Honestly, I started taking that one hour ballet class so that I could spend more time with my best friend. Now, I dance not only for the friends that I might make but for the people I might possibly bring a little taste of heaven to. Dancing is hard, it’s not for the faint of heart. If you keep at it, though, it is so worth it. So, today I leave you with this quote from Albert Einstein.
“We dance for laughter, we dance for tears, we dance for madness, we dance for fears. We dance for hopes, we dance for screams, we are the dancers and we create the dreams.” –Einstein
This quote describes exactly why I dance. I’m so grateful that my parents decided to enroll me in that dance class three years ago, and continue to support me! If you want to read a poem about dance then you should read this. http://pointeshoesandwoodenspoons.com/whats-the-pointe/
Have a wonderful weekend! Let me know why you dance in the comments below. 🙂
